The 58th Delhi State Swimming Competition will be held at the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi on May 26 and 27.

The competition will also serve as the selection trials for the National Championships that will be held in Bhubaneswar from June 22 to June 26, according to the Swimming Ad-Hoc Committee Chairman SK Sahu.

Delhi returned with just three medals in the 77th National Aquatic Championship held last year in Mangalore. The three medals (one silver and two bronze) came in the women's category. The male competitors had returned medal-less.

The players willing to participate in the Delhi State Swimming Competition can approach coach Sanjay Bisht at the Talkatora Stadium and submit their entries by May 21.

It will be mandatory for everyone to bring their UID (Unique Identification) card during the competition.

The Talkatora stadium had recently witnessed the National Finswimming Championship. It also hosted the KVS 53rd National Sports Meet 2024 which included the swimming event at the venue.
