Yugal Saini carries on good form in DDCA T20 League

Batsman Yugal Saini lit up the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) T20 League as he slammed 161 not out off 62 balls (19x4s, 10x6s) to continue his good run in the ongoing tournament.

Saini has played four innings in the tournament and scored 99 off 37 balls in the first, followed it up with 161 on Wednesday and 49 on Friday. There has been just one failure.

His string of scores has ensured that Mount remain unbeaten in the tournament.

"The season has been going fine. The ball has been coming on the bat well. I have had a good season so far," said Saini, who has been a success during the season of DDCA cricket.

He aggregated 730 runs in eight innings of DDCA 40-over League, although he got just one match in Hot Weather where he scored 38 off 31.

That apart, he was declared the Best Batsman of the Tournament in Laxman Dass Memorial Cricket Tournament and in the Sahibzada Zoravar Cricket Tournament. He also scored two successive tons in Lala Raghubir Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament. He scored 120 in the Lala Raghubir game that saw Mount score 472, the highest score in the history of the tournament.

Saini had scored a match-winning century against Chhattisgarh for Delhi in the National Under-23 Multi-Day Cricket Championship for the Col CK Nayudu Trophy in January.
