New Delhi: The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) ombudsman MM Kumar has admitted a complaint filed by a body called Delhi Sentinels Group and issued notices to the association’s Secretary and  Joint Secretary.

There was a complaint against DDCA Secretary Ashok Sharma (in pic) and Joint Secretary Amit Grover that they both attended selection meetings despite an earlier Ombudsman order and provisions of the DDCA Articles of Association (AoA) to the contrary.

“Both Secretary and Joint Secretary cannot attend selection meetings together. There is an earlier order by the Ombudsman with regards to that,” said a DDCA official.

The notice to both the Secretary and the Joint Secretary has been served through the DDCA Counsel.

The Ombudsman has given time for response and he will hear the matter on January 10, 2026 at 5 pm.
