New Delhi: Following a great run through the league stage, where Delhi finished on top of Elite Group D, winning six of their seven matches, the state selectors have decided to make a few changes to the squad for the knockout stage.

The selection panel, comprising Yashpal Singh, Manu Nayyar and Bhaskar Pillai, met at the Ferozeshah Kotla in the presence of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Secretary Ashok Sharma, Joint Secretary Amit Grover, Chief Coach Sarandeep Singh and Cricket Advisory Committee Member Robin Singh Jr to decide on the squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarterfinal against Vidarbha.

The match is scheduled to take place on January 13.

Exiting the squad are top-order batsmen Sarthak Ranjan and Arpit Rana and in their place, the selectors have inducted batsmen Ankit Rajesh Kumar and Yash Bhatia. Also entering the squad is all-rounder Mayank Gusain.

The Delhi team will miss the services of Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, who have returned to India duties for the ODI series against South Africa.

The DDCA have named a 16-member squad:

Priyansh Arya, Yash Bhatia, Ankit Rajesh Kumar, Ayush Badoni (Captain), Nitish Rana, Vaibhav Kandpal, Tejasvi Singh Dahiya (wicketkeeper), Harsh Tyagi, Hrithik Shokeen, Ishant Sharma, Navdeep Saini, Prince Yadav, Rohan Rana, Divij Mehra, Anuj Rawat (wicketkeeper) and Mayank Gusain.
