Delhi on Thursday suffered their first loss after winning the first two matches in the second phase of the Santosh Trophy being played in Hyderabad.
The Delhiites lost to Meghalaya 2-0 with Diengdoh D. scoring a brace in the 49th and 51st minutes of the match for the winners.
They had earlier beaten Odisha 2-0 on December 15 and Tamil Nadu on December 17, also by a margin of 2-0.
Against TN, Bharaanyu Bansal scored in the seventh minute while Ashish Shaw netted in the 65th minute.
In the match against Odisha, Jaideep Singh scored in the eighth minute whereas Bawlte Rohmingthanga scored in the 43rd minute.
They now play group leaders Kerala on December 22. Kerala have won all their three matches and earned nine points.
Delhi, who are placed second in Group B, are clubbed with Kerala, Meghalaya, Goa, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.
The top four teams from Group A and B will make it to the quarterfinals.
Delhi had earlier finished on top of Group B with nine points in the first stage.
