Sahitya Akademi’s Sahityotsav, which is the festival of letters, and is known as the world’s largest literature festival, will be held from March 11 to 16 at the Rabindra Bhavan in New Delhi

Sahitya Akademi’s Sahityotsav, which is the festival of letters, and is known as the world’s largest literature festival, will be held from March 11 to 16 at the Rabindra Bhavan in New Delhi.
The festival will witness multiple discussion across various subjects every day and will also feature a book exhibition from 10 am to 7 pm daily at the Rabindra Bhavan Lawns.
The main event will be the presentation of Sahitya Akademi Awards for the year 2023.
The Sahitya Akademi Award winners will speak on March 13 from 10 am to 1.30 pm at the Writers’ Meet in Tiruvalluvar Sabhasagar.
The media will be allowed to interact with the winners on March 12 between 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.
Among the topics that will be discussed on March 11 are Bhakti Literature of India, Is Literature Important to other Arts, Theatre as a Medium of Cultural Expression, and Diplomacy and Literature.
There will also be discussion on Issues with Translating Children’s Literature in India, LGBTQ Writers’ Meet – My First Writing Experience, Literature and Women Empowerment, Technology and Literature, Multilingual Poetry Reading and other poetry sessions, among other topics.
Likewise, the succeeding days will also have discussions on various other topics.
There will also be a cultural event in the Meghdoot Open Air Theatre every day after the end of the sessions.
