The first day of the 28th edition of Gifts World Expo, organised by MEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd, witnessed a huge footfall as the event opened to an enthusiastic response at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
With a sprawling area of 3,50,000-plus sq. ft, the Expo-India’s leading B2B gifting platform, featured 11,200 visitors, 650-plus exhibitors and 4,000-plus brands, showcasing 30,000-plus products across multiple categories including electronic gadgets & home appliances, luxury gifts & lifestyle products, gourmet hampers, beauty, health and wellness gifts, stationery & office supplies and more.
Mex Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Messe Frankfurt India joined hands in a powerful strategic alliance as a joint venture to jointly organise Gifts World Expo and Paperworld India. Following this, the longstanding Corporate Gifts Show will now be rebranded under Gifts World Expo umbrella.
The event is backed by Mutha Impex as Registration Sponsor, RR Bags as Carry Bag Sponsor, BAA as Sourcing Partner, Power Plus and Castillo Milano as Lanyard Sponsors, and 6Wresearch as Knowledge Partner for Gift Talks. Partner Associations such as the Handloom Handicraft Exporters Welfare Association (HHEWA) and National Jute Board while Supporting Associations including Pen & Stationery Association of India, Corporate Gifts Association of India (CGAI), and the Federation of Maharashtra Stationery Manufacturers & Traders Association (FMSMTA) have also extended their support.

The expo delivered a compelling experience through its exclusive show attractions that engaged trade visitors and industry professionals. The Start-Up & Innovation Zone spotlighted scalable, innovative gifting ideas from emerging brands, while the Stationery World Pavilion drew institutional buyers with key players like Linc, Pilot, and Tejura Overseas. The Sustainable Products Zone featured eco-conscious offerings by brands such as Phool, Help Us Green, Unirec, 9 Cork, and Spectrus Sustainable. The Trending Products Showcase became a prime sourcing hub for high-demand, seasonal merchandise. Adding to the vibrancy were the Entertainment Zone that enriched the visitor experience.
The introduction of the Wedding Segment placed a strategic focus on premium gifting solutions for festive and ceremonial occasions. Designed for corporate buyers, event planners, and export houses, the segment immediately garnered attention and added a distinctive edge to the show. The day also saw robust participation from professionals across event companies, corporate brands, buying houses, hospitality sector, home and lifestyle stores and others.
Another significant highlight of the day was Gift Talks, a dedicated knowledge-sharing platform that fostered dialogue around the evolving dynamics of the Indian gifting ecosystem. The sessions explored relevant themes, beginning with “Emerging India: The Rise of the Indian Gifting Industry and How Gifts World Expo is Contributing to Its Growth,” followed by discussions on “Smart Gifting: The Rise of Gadgets, E-Vouchers & Interactive Stationery Reshaping Business Gifting.”
The platform further addressed sustainability in the session titled “Trends in Sustainable Gifting: Eco-friendly Gifts and the Rise of Conscious Gifting,” and concluded with global perspectives through “Global Gifting Trends and Opportunities: Insights into Cross-Border Gifting Preferences and Export Opportunities.”
