New Delhi: A sensational century by Komal Baison and an all-round dominant performance helped Rann Star Girls Club register a massive 339-run victory over Mount Girls Cricket Club in the ongoing 3rd Kalpana Chawla Girls Cricket Tournament at the Gargi College Ground.

Batting first after winning the toss, Rann Star Girls Club piled up a mammoth 405 for 6 in their allotted 40 overs. The innings was built around a breathtaking knock from Komal Baison, who hammered 104 runs off just 47 deliveries, striking 19 boundaries and a six. The middle order maintained the momentum as Amishi contributed a brisk 54, while Jyoti Yadav added 43 runs to ensure Run Star crossed the 400-run mark.

In reply, Mount Girls Cricket Club never recovered from the early setbacks and were bundled out for just 66 runs in 26.5 overs. Tanishka Rana was the lone batter to offer resistance, top-scoring with 21 runs.

Rann Star's bowlers were equally impressive. Pooja produced a remarkable spell, claiming 4 wickets for just 6 runs in 8 overs, including five maiden overs. Tejaswini provided excellent support with figures of 3 for 11 as Mount Girls collapsed well short of the target.
