RPCA Girls sealed the match by seven wickets, with Nazma being named Player of the Match for her all-round performance

New Delhi: RP Cricket Academy (RPCA) Girls registered a commanding seven-wicket win in the 3rd All India Kalpana Chawla Girls Cricket Tournament at the Gargi College Ground.

Batting first, The One Sports Cricket Academy posted 180/9 in 40 overs. Dimple Shekhawat top-scored with a well-made 57, while Vrinda Sharma contributed 42 runs. For RPCA Girls, Tarini Joshi impressed with figures of 3/37, while Diksha Sharma chipped in with 2/11.

In reply, RPCA Girls chased down the target in emphatic fashion, reaching 185/3 in just 23 overs. Senior Delhi woman player Nazma Khan starred with a blistering unbeaten 104 off only 57 balls, smashing 13 fours and five sixes. She also made an impact with the ball, claiming 2/21. Arushi provided solid support with a quickfire 38.

RPCA Girls sealed the match by seven wickets, with Nazma being named Player of the Match for her all-round performance. The award was presented by former Ranji Trophy player Surjeet Verma.

In a match played on Friday, City Cricket Women Academy, powered by a magnificent unbeaten century from Anshika, registered a resounding 177-run victory over GS Harry Cricket Women Academy at the Siri Fort Sports Complex.

Batting first, the City Cricket Women Academy posted a formidable total of 276 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 40 overs.

Leading the charge for her team, 'Player of the Match' Anshika scored an unbeaten 106 runs off just 81 balls — an innings studded with 17 fours and one six. Pragati Bisht contributed 62 runs, while Radhika added 32 runs to the total.

For the GS Harry Cricket Women Academy, Kashvi claimed two wickets for eight runs, while Pragya Rawat took two wickets for a mere two runs.

Chasing the target, the GS Harry Cricket Women Academy team was bundled out for 99 runs in 36 overs. Preeti Gihar played a knock of 27 runs for the team.

The City Cricket Women Academy clinched the match by a margin of 177 runs.

The 'Player of the Match' award was presented to Anshika.
