Railway Officers XI defeated Civil Services Officers XI by five wickets in a thrilling cricket match played at the Karnail Singh Stadium in New Delhi.

The match played on April 6 saw Ankit Gupta (72 not out) and Anand Mohan (54 not out) put up a century partnership to guide the team to the 155-run target set by the Civil Servants.

The Civil Services XI had scored 154/5 in 20 overs with Nikhil Kumar top-scoring with 62 runs. Vinamr Mishra, Ankit Gupta, Rahul Kapoor and Himanshu Vohra took one wicket each for the Civil Services XI.

DDCA State Panel umpire Neeraj Sharma and Piyush Dubey officiated in the match.

Rahul Kapoor was captain of the Railway Officers team while Nikhil Kumar led the IAS Officers XI.

The teams play on a regular basis in various grounds in the Capital.
