With second successive loss in the second round of Santosh Trophy, Delhi have slipped to third in Group B. They, however, remain in contention for a place in the quarterfinals as the top four wade through to that stage.
On Sunday, Delhi lost to Kerala 3-0 in Hyderabad. This followed their loss to Meghalaya.

Kerala lead the points table with four wins in four matches. They have 12 points. Meghalaya have two wins in four games and are second with seven points. Delhi, who won the first two matches, have six points from four games. Odisha are fourth with four points in four matches.
In Group A, West Bengal lead the table with 10 points in four matches whereas Services (nine points), Manipur (eight) and Jammu & Kashmir (four) round up the top four.
Delhi play Goa in the last match on December 24. Goa are placed fifth with only one win in four matches.
