Swastik Cricket Academy outclass NRCA U-12 by 70 runs

Vansh Godara’s fluent 81 and Yatin Godara’s all-round show guided Swastik Cricket Academy to a convincing 70-run victory over Northern Railway Cricket Academy Junior Boys U-12 in Chhawla near Dwarka

New Delhi: Northern Railway Cricket Academy (NRCA) Junior Boys U-12 suffered a 70-run defeat against Swastik Cricket Academy, Chhawla, in a match played at the Swastik Cricket Academy ground in Chhawla near Dwarka.

Batting first, Swastik Cricket Academy were bowled out for 232 in 32.4 overs. Vansh Godara top-scored with 81 runs, while Yatin Godara added 59 and Vishvajeet Shokin contributed 45. Vihan chipped in with 25, while Aarav made 15.

For NRCA, Kartik Saroj was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/45. Bhavya Singh and Ashar Nafees claimed two wickets each, while Vardaan Singh picked up one wicket.

In reply, NRCA were bundled out for 162 in 27.2 overs despite Vishnu’s 42 and Ashar Nafees’ 39. Siddharth scored 30, while Nikhil added 29.

For Swastik Cricket Academy, Anshuman and Yatin Godara took two wickets each, while Anshul also chipped in with two scalps. Aarav Verma claimed one wicket.

Swastik Cricket Academy registered a convincing 70-run victory. Umpire and Northern Railway coach Neeraj Sharma encouraged players from both teams after the match, while Swastik Cricket Academy coach Amit Kumar also appreciated the young cricketers for their efforts.
