Besides Sehwag, who is a batsman, Abhiraj Gagan Singh, Naitik Mathur, Arnav Bugga, Kairav Singhani, Kirit Kaushik, Ayush Lakra and Pradyuman Sanan have been picked in the camp.
These players have been selected on the basis of their performances in the recent Vijay Merchant Trophy, where Delhi lost in the quarter-finals and failed to progress to the semi-finals.
While wicketkeeper-batsman Abhiraj Gagan Singh scored 334 runs in the competition at an average of 47.71, Sehwag hit 332 runs at an average of 36.9 and also took two wickets at 17.5.

The right-arm Sanan had impressed in the league matches (trials) for the Delhi under-16 team, picking five wickets in five balls for Bright Club against Central Secretariat.
The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) who have received the letter from NCA have been asked to respond by March 18 confirming the participation of the players.
“The All-India Junior Selection Committee has selected the players from your association to attend the above camp from 19th April to 15th May, 2024, as per the details in the player list enclosed with this letter,” stated the letter from the NCA.
