New Delhi: The 5th PSPB Baba Deep Singh Basketball Tournament (Men & Women) witnessed intense competition and standout performances across Day 3 and Day 4, with college teams battling fiercely for supremacy.
Day 3 Results
Women’s Section
Ramjas College secured a convincing 61–40 victory over Indraprastha College for Women. Komal of Ramjas College delivered an impressive performance and was named Player of the Match.
Men’s Section
Sri Ram College of Commerce dominated Amity University with a 55–31 win. Bhumit was awarded Player of the Match for his outstanding contribution.
In another fixture, SGTB Khalsa College defeated Kirori Mal College 92–81 in a high-scoring encounter. Adhiraj Vikram Singh of SGTB Khalsa College earned Player of the Match honours.
The third match saw SGTB Khalsa Alumni overpower Hansraj College with an 82–58 victory. Deshmukh Mathur of SGTB Khalsa Alumni was recognized as the Player of the Match for his remarkable performance.
Day 4 Results
Women’s Section
Gargi College registered a dominant 61–39 win over Ramjas College, with Shruti being named Player of the Match
In the second match, Miranda House defeated Maitri College 68–46. Parnika of Miranda House earned the Player of the Match title for her excellent display.
Men’s Section
Stunner Academy triumphed over Hansraj College with a 96–81 scoreline. Abhinav’s stellar performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
In another key clash, SGTB Khalsa College continued their strong run by defeating Sri Ram College of Commerce 92–81. Tanuj was named Player of the Match for his crucial role in the victory.
