UP Yoddhas, looking to improve their position in the points table of PKL Season 11, are aiming to maximise their home advantage in the upcoming leg. The team, led by captain Surender Gill, has shown glimpses of their potential and will be eager to convert their preparation into positive results in front of their home crowd. The start the second leg against the U Mumba on Sunday, November 10.

Speaking ahead of the curtain raiser clash, the UP Yoddhas Head Coach Jasveer Singh shared his thoughts on the team's preparation and expressed strong confidence in their capabilities ahead of their first home leg match against U Mumba at the Noida Indoor Stadium.

“We've utilised our break of 4-5 days effectively to work on our shortcomings. While we lost a few matches due to our own mistakes, we’ve thoroughly analysed those areas. When we minimize these errors, I'm confident that we can compete with any team in the league,” he said.

Addressing the significance of playing in front of home fans in Noida, Coach Jasveer Singh stated, "This home leg will be very special for us, as we are not just playing for the points but for our fans who have supported us through thick and thin. Their energy will be our driving force, and we are fully committed to giving them a performance they can be proud of."

When asked about the UP Yoddhas' formidable raiding department featuring tall and physically strong raiders like Surender Gill, Bhavani Rajput, and Bharat Hooda, Singh opined, "While their height and physical attributes provide certain advantages, it also comes with its challenges. However, all three raiders are highly experienced. Surender Gill has been performing excellently for us, Bhavani Rajput has shown great form, and they understand their roles well. When they work together cohesively, the team performs at its best.”
