Highlighting the importance of multidisciplinary expertise in modern healthcare, Prof. Dinesh Kalyanasundaram, Programme Coordinator and Associate Professor at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, IIT Delhi, said that technology can no longer be viewed as an external layer in healthcare systems.
“Healthcare can no longer look at technology as an external layer. The next shift will come from professionals who can combine clinical understanding, engineering thinking and intelligent systems to improve patient outcomes, safety and efficiency. Industry 5.0 is about placing human expertise at the centre of this transformation,” he said.
The programme is open to candidates holding a bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Medical disciplines, including MBBS, Pharmacy, Nursing, BDS or equivalent qualifications, with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or a 5.0 CGPA.
