Patna: In a decisive outcome, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has emerged victorious in the Bihar state assembly elections held recently. The results, announced today, showcase the NDA's strong support across the state’s diverse electorate.
The BJP got 89 seats, its alliance partner the JD (U) got 86 seats while Rashtriya Janata Dal won 25 seats.
The coalition, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies, secured a comfortable majority by winning over 200 of the 243 assembly seats. This victory marks a significant political milestone for the NDA in Bihar, reaffirming its influence in the region.
