Patna: In a decisive outcome, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has emerged victorious in the Bihar state assembly elections held recently. The results, announced today, showcase the NDA's strong support across the state’s diverse electorate.

The BJP got 89 seats, its alliance partner the JD (U) got 86 seats while Rashtriya Janata Dal won 25 seats. 

The coalition, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies, secured a comfortable majority by winning over 200 of the 243 assembly seats. This victory marks a significant political milestone for the NDA in Bihar, reaffirming its influence in the region.

The Election Commission reported a high voter turnout, reflecting the enthusiasm and engagement of the people. The victory is seen as a mandate for the NDA's development initiatives, governance policies, and focus on infrastructure, health, and education.

Leaders from the NDA expressed their gratitude to the voters and promised to continue working towards Bihar’s progress. The Opposition, meanwhile, has called for a review of their campaign strategies and expressed commitment to constructive opposition.

Political analysts suggest that the NDA's victory will have a noteworthy impact on regional and national politics, especially as Bihar holds a key position in the upcoming national elections.

The new government is expected to be sworn in within the next few days, with the coalition aiming to further advance Bihar’s development agenda.
