New Delhi: The 7th day of the 5th PSPB Baba Deep Singh Basketball Tournament marked a decisive phase as the competition advanced into the semifinals following a series of intense league matches and quarterfinal clashes.
In the women’s section, Stunners Academy registered a hard-fought 66–56 victory over Miranda House, with Gulafsha earning the Player of the Match award for her standout performance. In another closely contested fixture, Gargi College edged past Ramjas College by a narrow 40–39 margin. Principal Saini of Gargi College was adjudged Player of the Match.
The men’s section also witnessed gripping encounters. SGTB Khalsa College defeated Khalsa Alumni 74–66 in a competitive match, with Sarthak Ankit being named Player of the Match. In the second semifinal clash, Kirorimal College prevailed in a thrilling high-scoring contest, defeating Stunners Academy 100–99. Daksh of Kirorimal College was awarded Player of the Match for his decisive contribution.
With these results, the tournament now heads into its final stages, promising more high-intensity action and competitive basketball.
