Delhi Cricket Hub lift NC Bakshi Memorial title

Delhi Cricket Hub, riding on Sombeer Sheokand's innings of 72, defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the final of the 2nd Bodycare NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament at the Essex Farms ground

Delhi Cricket Hub defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the final of the 2nd Bodycare NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament at the Essex Farms ground.

The win was scripted by an innings of 72 runs from Sombeer Sheokand. The batsman was ably supported by Rishabh Drall who hit 47. Mayank Arora took 3/35 for the winners.

Batting first, Delhi Capitals had scored 197/7 in 20 overs with Ranji Trophy player Kshitiz Sharma top-scoring with 57.

Sheokand was adjudged Kimati Sports Man of the Match in the final.

In the semi-finals, Delhi Cricket Hub had beaten Uday Bhan Cricket Academy by six wickets while Delhi Capitals had beaten Subhania Cricket Club by eight wickets.

Yugal Saini was given the Best Batsman Award while Mayank Arora earned the award for the best bowler. Ankit Pratap Singh was declared Man of the Series and Dhruv Singh was adjudged as the Best Wicketkeeper.

The awards were given in the presence of chief guest Sanjay Dawar, the Founder and Managing Director of Bodycare Creations Limited.

Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Directors Ashok Sharma and Shyam Sharma, DDCA League committee co-chairman Ahmed Tamim and tournament secretary Rakesh Kaushal were also present on the occasion along with DDCA League committee members Anil Passi, Rajeev Malhotra, Manish Sharma, Gurpreet Sareen, Ajay Vir Nagar, Sandeep Gupta and club secretaries.

Brief scores: Delhi Capitals 197/7 in 20 overs (Kshitiz Sharma 57, Mayank Arora 3/35) lost to Delhi Cricket Hub 202/5 in 18.4 overs (Sombeer Sheokand 72, Rishabh Drall 47, Arpit Rana 1/07) by five wickets
