New Delhi: It was a day of commanding performances and one-sided encounters at the 12th Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh T20 Cricket Tournament, as HCA Pioneer, SGTB Khalsa, Tilak Nagar Colts C.C., and RP Cricket Academy registered emphatic victories through explosive batting and disciplined bowling displays.

HCA Pioneer Chase 162 in Just 9.5 Overs

HCA Pioneer produced a sensational batting performance to chase down a target of 162 in a mere 9.5 overs against Vijay Dahiya Cricket Club.

Batting first, Vijay Dahiya Cricket Club posted 162 in their allotted 20 overs. Yug Gupta led the charge with a brisk 40 off 20 balls, while Yajas R Sharma anchored the innings with a composed 57 off 37 deliveries.

However, the total proved insufficient against Pioneer’s ruthless top order. Swastik Chikara played a match-winning unbeaten knock of 68 off just 29 balls, earning him the Man of the Match award. He received explosive support from Ashwini J. Chillar, who hammered 46 off only 13 balls, and Vipul, who remained unbeaten on 33 off 11 deliveries. The trio dismantled the bowling attack and sealed the victory in under 10 overs.

SGTB Khalsa outclass Golden Hawks

In the second league match of the evening, SGTB Khalsa overcame Golden Hawks with a clinical all-round performance.

SGTB Khalsa put up 135 runs on the board after opting to bat. Aditya Kumar top-scored with 48 off 38 balls, while Harsh Bhati contributed an unbeaten 28 off 34 deliveries to steady the innings.

Golden Hawks struggled in response as their top order collapsed under sustained pressure from Khalsa’s bowlers. Monu Shukla fought valiantly with 42 off 36 balls in the middle order, but lacked support from the other end.

Nirbhay Dagar and Revaant Rakyan spearheaded the bowling attack, claiming three wickets each to bundle out Golden Hawks for 116 in 18 overs. Dagar was adjudged Man of the Match for his economical spell of 3 for 16.

Tilak Nagar Colts CC clinch 112-run win

In another league encounter at S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, Tilak Nagar Colts C.C. delivered a crushing 112-run victory over Ravi Brothers Cricket Club.

Batting first, Tilak Nagar Colts posted 161/9 in 20 overs. Aditya Sharma struck 45 off 28 balls, while Gaurav Sabharwal added 38 off 32. Kartik Yadav chipped in with a valuable 31 to bolster the total. For Ravi Brothers, Vivaan Jindal was the most effective bowler with figures of 2/26.

In reply, Ravi Brothers were dismantled for just 49 in 13.2 overs. Aditya Malhotra (14) and Siddharth Chaudhary (11) were the only batters to reach double figures. Kartik Yadav shone with the ball as well, returning figures of 3/9, while Atharv Gupta matched the effort with 3/11.

Kartik Yadav was named Man of the Match for his all-round brilliance (31 runs and 3/9).

RP Cricket Academy secure 88-run triumph

Masab Alam contributed 36 off 22, while Abhishek Kaushik added a quickfire 35. Pioneer Joshi stood out for Shivaji Cricket Club with impressive figures of 4/32.
