New Delhi: In a league clash of the 12th Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh T-20 Cricket Tournament 2026 at S.G.T.B. Khalsa College Ground, SRK Technology 11 registered a commanding 67-run win over Golden Hawks by Gagan Vats (43 off 27) and Saksham Rai (39 off 27), with Gaurav Gaur adding a steady 31. For Golden Hawks, Divij Prakash was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with 3/23.

“The pitch was tricky as the ball wasn’t coming onto the bat, so we aimed for around 150. It was difficult to time the ball well. Their bowlers were a bit wayward, and that helped us,” said Vats, who struck four sixes during his innings.

Chasing 168, Golden Hawks were bowled out for 100 in 19 overs. Pranav Pant (36) and Kuldeep Singh (23) were the main contributors, but regular wickets prevented any serious recovery. Lakshya Thareja led SRK’s bowling with 3/26, supported by Ansh Chaudhary (2/16).

Thareja, who also contributes as a batsman and wicketkeeper, made full use of the turning pitch. He was named Player of the Match, while Divij Prakash received the Impact Player award.

In Saturday's double-header, RP Singh Cricket Academy will face MS Sports in the morning match while Uday Bhan Cricket Academy will play Reinder Nagar Colts.
