New Delhi: The Delhi Tamil Education Association (DTEA) conducted the Inter DTEA schools Annual Sports Meet at the DTEA Senior Secondary School , Mandir Marg on November 8, 2025.

The meet featured the seven DTEA Schools in Delhi -- Mandir Marg, Lodhi Estate, Moti Bagh, Pusa Road, Lakshmibhai Nagar, RK Puram, Janakpuri.

Events were held in Badminton, Chess, Kho Kho, Athletics (both field and track).

Pusa Road Branch got the best team award, while Mandir Marg and RK Puram the second and third prizes respectively.

Excellence in team games as also individual performances were  recognised.

Dhyan Chand Sports Awardee and former International badminton star, Manjusha Kanwar was the Chief Guest while DTEA Secretary Raju Ramaswami was the Guest of Honour.

Members of the DTEA Executive Committee, Principals of various DTEA Schools distributed the prizes.

The prizes were sponsored by Pelicans Cricket Club, which is affiliated to the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) as also former alumini of DTEA, Lodhi Estate.
