New Delhi: In an evocative celebration of India’s classical music legacy, HCL Concerts presented 'The Echoes of Benaras', a first-of-its-kind confluence of three generations of the illustrious Benaras Gharana, led by renowned flute maestro Pandit Rajendra Prasanna.
The evening on Saturday (March 28) brought together Pandit Rajendra Prasanna, alongside his sons and accomplished flautists Rajesh and Ritesh Prasanna, and grandson and child prodigy Rishal Prasanna, in a performance that seamlessly wove tradition with continuity. The concert marked a significant moment for Indian classical music, showcasing not just the depth of the Benaras gharana, but also its living, evolving legacy across generations.
