Piyush Tiwari was adjudged Best Batsman of the Tournament, Aditya Jain was named Best Bowler of the Tournament while Pawan Baniya was declared Man of the Tournament

Jaipur & Jodhpur defeated Manufacturing + Rog by seven wickets in the 5th Rahul Dixit Memorial Cricket Tournament at the Lets Base Suntan Green Ground in Gurugram.

Right-handed batsman Shubham Java scored 54, Vikas Jain made 30 while Aditya Jain picked 3/16 and Pankaj Dobal 3/19 to power helped Jaipur & Jodhpur to the win

Piyush Tiwari was adjudged Best Batsman of the Tournament, Aditya Jain was named Best Bowler of the Tournament while Pawan Baniya was declared Man of the Tournament.

Rupa Dixit, the wife of Rahul Dixit, a former Delhi Ranji Trophy player, in whose memory the tournament is being held, was the chief guest at the event.

“My husband played for St Stephen’s Club, Madras Cricket Club and also for Delhi. He was keyed into cricket. He also played Bank cricket while employed with Punjab National Bank. He then joined Genpact, where he also represented the cricket team,” said Rupa Dixit.

Dixit, who was a batsman, passed away in 2018 at the young age of 47. His father JN Dixit, an alumnus of Zakir Husain College and Indian School of International Studies, now part of JNU, was a diplomat, who served as the country’s second National Security Advisor and India's Ambassador and High Commissioner in various countries.

The tournament was organised by Genpact, where Rahul worked. The company also has a women’s team.

“The tournament is organised by Rahul’s friends and colleagues to keep his legacy alive,” added Rupa Dixit.
