Rann Star coast to Sahibzada T20 cricket title with thumping win in final

The hero of the final was Ashish Siwach, who continued his good form in the tournament and scored 128 not out off 58 balls (9x4s, 10x6s)

New Delhi: Rann Star Club won the 12th Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh T-20 Cricket Tournament 2026 played at the SGTB Khalsa College after defeating HCA Pioneer by a huge margin of 84 runs.

The hero of the final was Ashish Siwach, who continued his good form in the tournament and scored 128 not out off 58 balls (9x4s, 10x6s). His knock helped Rann Star reach 222/5 in 20 overs after they were put into bat. Siwach had scored 82 off 24 balls and prior to that he made 19-ball half-century.

Kunal made 23 runs at the top, while Vaibhav Kandpal contributed a quickfire 25 off 15 balls to maintain the momentum.

In response, HCA Pioneer failed to keep up with the required run rate and were bowled out for 138 in 14.4 overs. Ankit Kumar fought hard with 40 off 23 balls, but regular fall of wickets halted the chase.

Vaibhav Kandpal starred with the ball, picking three wickets for 28 runs, while Rishabh Sharma claimed two wickets for just six runs. Tejas Baroka also chipped in with two wickets as Rann Star dominated the second innings.

Rann Star skipper Keshav R Singh (Keshav Dalal) said, "The team played as a unit and everybody chipped. I got the support of the seniors." This was his second title in a row as skipper of Rann Star. 

Coach Randhir Singh said, "The boys are playing well and it shows on the field."

Ashish Siwach was adjudged the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 128. Vaibhav Kandpal was named the Impact Player for his all-round performance, scoring 25 runs and taking three crucial wickets. Besides the individual awards for the Final, there were individual awards for the tournament too. Here is the list of them.
