New Delhi: Delhi's left-handed opener Samarth Seth is churning out some impressive innings on the DDCA League T20 Tournament this season. The opening batsman has scored two quickfire fifties to help his team Collage Sports notch up wins.

Samarth was in prime form as he notched 86 not out off 41 balls (11x4s, 5x6s) as Collage racked up 247/6 in 20 overs. The score was too daunting as opponents Essex Farms were restricted to 162 all out in 17 overs.

Samarth had done well in an earlier game too. On a testing pitch, Collage scraped past Rajnigandha CC by three wickets. Rajnigandha had got 114 all out in 19.1 overs. In response, Collage managed to get to the 115-run target with three wickets and three overs to spare.

Samarth was the only batsman who scored comfortably as he raced to unbeaten 72 off 49 balls (10x4s, 2x6s). Seth scored 72 off the 120 runs his team got. While the overall run-rate was just seven and the strike rate just over 100, he scored at a strike take of 147. His knock proved that he is one of the contenders for a place in Delhi's T20 squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy squad.
