New Delhi: York Cricket Club produced a dominant all-round display to thrash Khushhal Cricket Coaching Center by 192 runs in the first match of the second round of the 51st Tyagmurti Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament at the SGTB Khalsa College on May 14, 2026.
After being put in to bat by Khushhal skipper Pranjal Saini, York Cricket Club piled up a formidable 339 all out in their allotted 40 overs. The innings was anchored by a sensational unbeaten 131 off just 80 balls from Shivam Bhan, who led the charge with aggressive strokeplay. Akshay Saini chipped in with 45 off 43 deliveries, while Rohan Rana smashed a quickfire 42 off 21 balls to propel York to a commanding total.
For Khushhal Cricket Coaching Center, Sampark Gupta (2/47), Imrozpreet Singh (2/62) and Samar Kauhar (2/27) were among the wickets.
In response, Khushhal Cricket Coaching Center failed to cope with York’s disciplined bowling attack and were bowled out for 147 in 23 overs. Imrozpreet Singh scored 31 off 21 balls and captain Pranjal Saini added 27 off 22 deliveries, but the rest of the batting line-up crumbled under pressure.
Aman Chaudhary starred with the ball for York Cricket Club, returning impressive figures of 4/50 as York sealed a comprehensive 192-run victory.
A day earlier, Khushhal Cricket Coaching Center had registered a commanding nine-wicket win over Pusa Youngsters Cricket Club in their previous fixture of the tournament.

After electing to bowl, Khushhal Cricket Coaching Center restricted Pusa Youngsters Cricket Club to 168 in 36 overs. Abhishek Raikwar top-scored with 67 off 72 balls, while Shivam Nagar made 33 off 40 deliveries. Manan Sood remained unbeaten on 22 off 24 balls.
Khushhal’s bowlers impressed collectively, with Sampark Gupta leading the attack with figures of 3/34. Ganesh Bhagat (2/09), Yatharth Singh (2/27) and Imrozpreet Singh (2/34) also played key roles in restricting the opposition.
Chasing 169, Khushhal Cricket Coaching Center completed the task in emphatic fashion, reaching 169/1 in just 17.1 overs. Ibrahim smashed an unbeaten 84 off 60 balls, while Madhav Kaushik hammered 80 off 43 deliveries as the pair dominated the chase.
