New Delhi: A power-packed batting display by Yash Bhatia (88 off 67 balls, 9x4s, 5x6s) and Dev Lakra (81 off 50 balls, 4x4s, 8x6s) helped Bal Bhavan Cricket Academy, Dwarka beat Delhi Cricket Hub by four wickets in the fourth match of the 49th Lala Raghubir Memorial Cricket Tournament underway at the Modern School Grounds, Barakhamba Road.
Delhi Cricket Hub, led by coach-cum-captain Harish Dagar, had scored 281/8 in 40 overs. They were struggling at 113/6 in the 18th over at one point in time. However, it was captain Dagar (58 off 70 balls, 4x4s, 3x6s) and Deepak (68 off 44 balls, 6x4s, 6x6s) who carried the team to their eventual score. Bhagwan Singh scored 36 off 32 balls. Talented pace bowler Agrim Sharma picked 2/52 and Rahul took 2/31.

Bal Bhavan lost the early wicket of Aarush Malhotra but Yash Dhull (39 off 26 balls) stabilised the innings. After Dhull's dismissal, Lakra and Bhatia added 109 runs. Lakra was bowled by a delivery that kept low when the score was 171 and Bhatia fell when a delivery from a leg-spinner popped up and he was caught at point unable to keep it down. Bhatia has been in great form, having scored three hundreds in Laxman Das Chhabra Memorial before this 87.
Agamjyot Singh carried Bal Bhavan home with unbeaten 35 off 30 balls.
In the game on Wednesday, veteran Lalit Yadav produced a smashing 145 off 75 balls (10x4s, 13x6s) and took 2/33 as he helped Sporting Club beat Tilak Nagar Colts by six wickets. Tilak Nagar were dismissed for 271 in 36.3 overs. Abhishek Goswami made 112 off 65 balls. For Sporting, Mohammed Arbaaz took 4/44. Sporting reached 273/4 in 28.1 overs. It was all Lalit show in batting.
